Rationale Development

Throughout this assignment I developed a conference with focus on the future of graphic design. The conference developed from initially being ‘above the fold’ and relating to the web design term to a much broader and easily understood conference now called “PROSPECTIVE”. People who attend this conference will leave with knowledge on what the prospective future of graphic design is. The slogan “What direction is the future of design”, relates to the visual material, and the arrows with a intentional direction ‘pun’. The 5 speakers at the conference all work with different visual material from books and print to virtual reality and web, they will talk about what the prospective future could be. The design style used inspiration from Swiss Design and ended up very clean with a bright colour palette to enforce a hopefully bright future of design. Throughout this paper I managed to control my time well and refine final works that articulate my intended theme well.
